Havana, 19 de março (RHC).- O Brasil foi o líder dos Jogos Sul-americanos ao acumular 109 medalhas de ouro, mais do dobro que o segundo lugar, a Colômbia, que conquistou 52. Depois, ficaram a Argentina (47), Venezuela (47) e o Chile (27).
Os jogos regionais foram encerrados na terça-feira, no Chile. E um dado curioso: pela primeira vez na história o evento foi inaugurado por um Presidente, e encerrado por outro. Na abertura esteve Sebastián Piñera e na cerimônia final Michelle Bachelet, que assumiu o posto no dia 11 passado.
