Lima, August 3 (RHC) - The young Cuban Men's Volleyball team has reached the sports Finals in the Lima 2019 Pan-Am Games after defeating the all-time favorite Brazil.
In the match, the Cubans were clearly superior to the Brazilians and came up with the victory after three sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-21). Osniel was the best offensive player on the Cuban side, scoring 17 points, while Brazilian Carlos Barreto scored 12 to be Brazil's best attacker.
After this result, Cuba qualifies for the Finals, to be played this Sunday, August 4, when the team will face Argentina.
