Havana, December 2 (RHC)-- Victim of imperfections in the three lines of play, the Cuban baseball team lost by a score of 8 to nothing to Colombia in the semifinals, and will have to fight for the bronze in the First Pan American Junior Games to be held at the Edgar Rentería stadium in Barranquilla.

Cuban starter Luis Serpa did well in his five innings of action, in which he gave three strikeouts, did not give out tickets and admitted five hits with only one run in the fourth episode, allowing two hits.
