Havana, 9 de julho (RHC).- Três cubanos participarão do 5º Campeonato Ibero-americano de xadrez, a dar início no dia 22 em Linares, na Espanha.
Isam Ortiz, atual campeão nacional, será acompanhado por Rodney Pérez e Roberto Gómez. Estarão presentes os titulares nacionais dos 23 países integrantes da federação regional. A primeira edição do torneio foi em 2006. Naquela ocasião o troféu foi para o cubano Lázaro Bruzón.
