Havana, December 23 (RHC)-- The best exponents of Cuban sports in 2021 will be awarded today during the traditional annual gala to be held at the capital's Martí Theater.

Top authorities of the country and the Inder will preside over the ceremony in which around 100 awards will be presented to conventional and disabled athletes and their coaches.

The best referees and the sports that won titles during the recent I Pan American Junior Games of Cali 2021 will also be honored.

It is expected that important scientists of the nation, linked to the creation and production of vaccines against covid-19, will be recognized and also award the most outstanding athletes this season.

Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba, Los Clásicos, Dúo Iris y Rapzodia, and Arnaldo y su Talismán will be in charge of the artistic performances.
