Riccardo Fraccari, head of the WBSC, arrives in Cuba
Havana, January 14 (RHC)-- The president of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), Riccardo Fraccari, arrived on Thursday afternoon in the capital, where he will make a working visit and take part in the activities for the 60th Anniversary of the Inauguration of the First National Baseball Series.
At terminal three of José Martí International Airport, the Italian federator was received by Roberto León Richards, head of the Cuban Olympic Committee, and by Raúl Fornés Valenciano, first vice-president of INDER.
Juan Reinaldo Pérez Pardo, National Commissioner of Baseball and Softball, and Gisleydi Sosa, Director of International Relations of INDER, also attended his arrival.
Fraccari shared animatedly with the Cuban executives and expressed his satisfaction for returning to the Island, a baseball power and land of great friends.
The executive and his companions will cover an intense work agenda.
