Despaigne's 10th home run, Moinelo's 22nd save

Havana, September 13 (RHC)- Cuban Alfredo Despaigne hit his tenth home run on Monday and Liván Moinelo scored his 22nd save in the Japan Professional Baseball League 2022.

The Granma slugger hit the ball in one of his five at-bats and drove in two runs. He led the SoftBank Falcons' 7x5 win over the Seibu Lions at the Pay Pay Dome in Fukuoka.

The experienced slugger, who went for the third time this month, saw his average drop to .262, but increased his pushes total to 31.

In the same game, Pinar del Río left-hander Liván Moinelo earned his 22nd save of the season, after striking out one of the three opponents he faced in one inning of relief. His effectiveness dropped to a fabulous 0.79.

In that game, Yurisbel Gracial went 3-0 with a pair of strikeouts and reduced his average to .273.
