 The First Elite League of Cuban Baseball will begin today with three games, to be played in this capital, Isla de la Juventud and Holguin.

Havana, October 22 (RHC)-- The First Elite League of Cuban Baseball will begin today with three games, to be played in this capital, Isla de la Juventud and Holguin.

The first subseries of the event will be based on Portuarios-Agricultores at the Latin American Stadium in the capital, Tabacaleros-Centrales at the Cristóbal Labra Park on the island and Cafetaleros-Ganaderos at the Calixto García Stadium in Holguín.

All the games will start at 2:00 p.m. and the National Baseball Commission (CNB) ratified that each team will play 50 games.

The competition had a two-week delay due to the delay in the arrival in Cuba of the teams' uniforms, but according to the CNB, the pending games will be made up during the regular calendar.

In addition, it was confirmed that the League champion will attend the Caribbean Series of Gran Caracas 2023, representing the country.
