The roster confirmation marks a record of Luis Suárez, Diego Godín, Edinson Cavani, Fernando Muslera and Martín Cáceres, with four World Cups in their careers.
The five Celeste historic players played in the World Cups of South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018, and will now play in Qatar 2022. In addition, all five were champions of the 2011 Copa América.
