Havana, May 5 (JIT) - Cuban Liván Moinelo scored his first victory in the Japan Professional Baseball League 2023 after allowing two runless hits in two innings of relief against the Orix Buffaloes at the Pay Pay Dome in Fukuoka.
His performance helped the SoftBank Falcons, who remain in third place in the Pacific League, win 8x7 in 11 games.
The Pinareño left-hander, who had not seen action since April 27, left his record at 1-0 and his ERA at 1.13.
Moinelo has accumulated seven appearances in the tournament. In eight innings he has allowed four hits and one clean run, while he gave away one ticket and struck out seven times.
