Guatemala City, October. 4 (JIT) - A delegation from Cubadeportes S.A. concluded a working visit to Guatemala on Tuesday, which in summary was positive, focusing on evaluating the results of the existing collaboration.

We went to the places where our technicians train, which allowed us to know their performance, interiorities and perspectives, explained the vice-president of the entity, Leonid Alum.

The actions were reduced due to the covid-19 pandemic, but in the last stage it was fruitful in the sense that we moved forward with six rowing and canoeing cooperators, one in karate and two in fencing, added the executive.

Currently, said Alum, four rowing and canoeing cooperants and one karate cooperant are contributing their knowledge, and the results obtained have made it possible for the counterpart to be interested in expanding with more technicians, he emphasized.

We had the opportunity -he emphasized- to meet with the Autonomous Sports Confederation of Guatemala, as a result of the agreement signed with Cubadeportes S.A., together with Inder and the National Olympic Committees.

The Land of the Quetzal has a well-organized sports development policy, its sports conditioning centers have first-class technological equipment that allows to effectively promote each of the specialties, said the vice-president.

Cubadeportes S.A., founded on November 19, 1992, offers specialized technical assistance, training bases, organization of events, teaching courses and professional training, bilateral training and hiring of athletes.

It works in close collaboration with the Havana Anti-Doping Laboratory, accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency for almost 20 years and with services to more than 30 countries.

The distribution of nutritional supplements made in Cuba, injury rehabilitation, sports detraining and specialized medical assistance are also included in its portfolio, backed by the experience of champions.
