Havana, November 23 (PL) -- Cuban paratriathlete Robiel Yankiel Sol won the gold medal today in the men's long jump competition with 7.74 meters, corresponding to the Santiago 2023 Games, which are taking place in the Chilean capital.
In his fifth attempt, Sol achieved this remarkable mark, which also broke the world record he set in Colombia on June 7.
The silver medal went to Argentina's Alberto Piriz, with a jump of 6.91, and the bronze medal was won by José Alejandro Messu, from Colombia, with 6.90.
The paratriathletes competed in the T47 category, assigned to physical disability in the upper limbs.
