Havana, February 11 (JIT)-- The Unión de Reyes team defeated Mantua twice today and Trinidad did the same against Campechuela to advance to the grand final of the Cuban Baseball Champions Club Tournament 2024.

In the first duel, the team from Matanzas went to bat and did not stop until winning 11x3, with an offense of 13 hits and William Aguilera's triumph. The loss went to Yunieski Uguens.

In the second game, Unión de Reyes won 10x9 with nine hits and two errors. The team from Pinar del Río hit 12 hits and did not commit any errors. Henry Moyet won and Yosvani Cáceres lost.

In the other semifinal duel, the Trinidad Sharks won the first game against Campechuela with a 6x2 score, thanks to the good pitching performance of left-hander Ariel Zerquera, unbeatable so far in the tournament.

Then, the team from Espiritu beat the team from Granma 3x2, with a smile from the closer Yanielkis Duardo, the best reliever of the II Elite League of Cuban Baseball.
