Havana, 2 de outubro (RHC).- O cubano Leinier Domínguez disputa o Grand Prix da Federação Internacional de Xadrez, aberto nesta quinta-feira em Baku com a participação de 12 jogadores de alto nível.
No grupo estão o italiano Fabiano Caruana, o norte-americano Hikaru Nakamura, o israelense Boris Gelfand e os russos Alexander Grischuk, Sergey Karjakin e Peter Svidler, entre outros. Estão previstas 11 rodadas. As outras etapas serão em Tashkent, em outubro, em Teerã, em fevereiro, e Moscou, em maio. O torneio se realiza a cada dois anos.
