Mexican delegation flagging

Mexico City, June 12 (PL).- The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, flagged the country's delegation that will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In a ceremony where athletes, coaches, technicians, and authorities of the country participated, including Ana Gabriela Guevara, general director of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports, Martí Batres Guadarrama and María José Alcalá, president of the Mexican Olympic Committee, López Obrador took note of the delegation's commitment to these Games.

He wished the members to obtain, as they deserve, good results in the world championships that will take place between July 26 and August 11 in the French capital.

The head of state stated that he is very pleased that the majority of those who make up the delegation are women, and presented the national flag to the double Olympic diving medalist Alejandra Orozco.

Emiliano Hernández Uscanga, world and Pan American modern pentathlon champion, will also be the flag bearer of the Mexican delegation.

«We are sure that we are going to obtain good results in these Olympics, we trust you a lot. "We are going to be very attentive, I also tell them that we are going to be attentive in the mornings so that their families know how we are doing.  They have all our support, backing.  They are not alone, they are not alone.  All Mexicans support them," he expressed.
