Havana, July 29 (RHC) - Cuba's Yariulvis Cobas dominated her semifinal heat in the women's single scull and qualified for the final E of the event next Friday, August 2.
Rowing practically alone, the Cuban woman dominated her heat on Monday (8.36.16 minutes in the 2 km) and will row again on Friday to get the best possible place in the fight for the 25th to 32nd places.

Cobas opened Cuba's performance this Monday in Paris, in a day with very little activity of athletes from the island. The other one who will see action is the pugilist Erislandy Alvarez, who will go for his second success in the 63.5 kg.
