Pan American Table Tennis Cup

San Salvador, Oct 15 (RHC) Cuba achieved its goal at the Pan American Table Tennis Championship in Guatemala, by qualifying its three pairs and three singles for the World Championship in Qatar 2025.

During the morning session, the Cuban duo of Daniela Fonseca and Estela Crespo defeated the Puerto Rican duo 3-0 (11-8, 12-10 and 11-6) to advance to the medals discussion.

Likewise, the men's team, formed by Andy Pereira and José Campos defeated their Mexican counterparts formed by Marcos Lamadrid and Rogelio Castro 3-0 (11-8, 11-6 and 11-4).

Cuba's Daniela Fonseca will be in contention for a place in the medal discussion in women's singles, and the Cubans have yet to participate in the mixed doubles competition.

The final and awards ceremony for doubles and singles is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, while the team awards ceremony will be held on October 20.
