Havana, Oct 21 (RHC) - The match between Cuba and Puerto Rico in the Pan American U-12 Championship in Panama, which awards three places for the World Cup, was sealed by rain in the very first inning.

At the time of the stoppage of the game, the Cubans were leading 2-0.

This Monday, the team coached by Vladimir Vargas will face the Dominican Republic, which opened with a 10-0 KO victory over Brazil, in a zero-hit, zero-run game.

On the opening day, Sunday, there were only two results: in addition to the Dominican Republic, which knocked out Brazil 10-0, Mexico beat Nicaragua 3-1.
