Fraccari
Havana, Nov. 1 (JIT) - Riccardo Fraccari, president of the World Baseball Softball Softball Confederation (WBSC), congratulated Cuba for its successes achieved in this sport during the year 2024.
In a letter addressed to Juan Reinaldo Pérez Pardo, president of the Cuban Baseball-Softball Federation (FCBS), Fraccari expressed that the end of the year is approaching and the world cups have been closed, with only the Premier 12 Tournament to be played in Mexico, Taiwan and Japan.
"I wanted to write these lines to celebrate the events and all the work that the national federations are doing with their teams to brighten our sport," Fraccari explained in his letter.
The WBSC president praised the Greater Antilles for gold medals at the International Baseball Cup for the Blind (UK) and the Baseball5 World Cup (Hong Kong).
"I am incredibly proud of our movement and how it has thrived after the challenges of the pandemic. I wish them all the best and hope they continue on the path of great sporting success," Fraccari concluded.
