Havana, January 22 (JIT).- Star Roberlandy Simón reappeared in the Italian Volleyball Super League with a good performance, despite his team Piacenza falling to Milan in five sets.
In this sixth round of return, the Cuban giant scored 10 points, eight of them in attack for a 67 percent effectiveness, and added two more through service.
In another of the games, Jesús Herrera took advantage of his presence as a regular to add 19 points, 18 with spikes for an efficiency of 56%, plus an ace, although Perugia fell for the second consecutive round.
This time the defeat was against Civitanova, but Perugia maintains the lead with 15 victories and two defeats that give them 42 points.
Next Sunday Piacenza (12-5/35) will face Civitanova (11-5/36), who with this success occupied the third step.
