Managua, January 24 (RHC).- The match between the Colombian and Curacao national teams, scheduled for the opening day of the Nicaragua 2025 Baseball Series of the Americas, was postponed, according to an official statement from the entity sponsoring the tournament.
Due to technical problems with space on the air lines, there is a delay in the arrival of both teams to the venue, the executive committee of the Baseball Association of the Americas (ABAM) announced on Wednesday, for which it instructed the technical direction of the event to reschedule it on the calendar.
In the note, the ABAM expresses its apologies to the host country and its organizing committee for this inconvenience.
This challenge was scheduled to begin on Friday 24th at the Rigoberto López Pérez stadium in the city of León and the new date will be announced in the next few hours.
The matches of the first day between the representative teams of Panama and Argentina will be held at 2:00 p.m. and that of Cuba and Nicaragua at 7:00 p.m. (local time), both at the Estadio Nacional Soberanía.
