Anisley García, "La Tuti"
Havana, Feb 25 (RHC)—Cuban Anisley García will attend the first two phases of the Diving World Cup 2025. She will then seek a place in the platform event, which will be held in Beijing to determine the circuit's winner.
The initial foray on the universal circuit will take place from April 3 to 6 in Guadalajara, Mexico, a place known for its relationship with ornamental show jumping as a venue for top-level events for many years.
The second stop for the Tuti—as she is also known—is scheduled for the Canadian city of Windsor from April 10 to 13. She will also be looking for a good result to support her presence in the so-called Super Final, scheduled for May 2 to 4 in the Chinese capital.
Anisley is 23 years old, but since the age of 16, she began her experiences in Grand Prix and world championships. Although she has achieved her most outstanding results on the platform, she also performs good-level programs on the one and three-meter springboards, as part of her preparation.
The national commissioner, Milagros Gonzalez, commented that she expects the two planned incursions to be very beneficial since she will be rubbing shoulders with some of the best divers at this time.
Since her passage through the universal circuit, her goals will be focused on the World Aquatic Sports Championship of Singapore 2025, which will take place from July 11 to August 3.
