As part of what they have been living on Paraguayan soil for more than a week, the young people received the visit of the Cuban ambassador in that country, Dr. C. Francisco Fernández Peña.
The diplomat was interested in several questions, among them details of the training designed to have an immediate impact on Cuba's ambitious projections of competing with a solid and well-prepared delegation in Asunción 2025.
In the meeting, Angel Luis Garcia, president of the Cuban Rowing Federation, assured that the purposes with which they arrived in the South American nation have been fulfilled, where this Tuesday will take place the technical congress of the qualifier.
