
Artistic swimming
Havana, Mar 27 (RHC) - The Cuban artistic swimming team, made up of 11 girls and one boy, is currently undergoing an intense preparation with an eye on the Medellin 2025 Pan American Aquatic Sports Championship.
The event is scheduled from May 13 to 25 and only its participants will be able to opt for tickets in these disciplines for the Asuncion 2025 Pan American Junior Games, the only multisport event with Cuban attendance this year.
The work sessions at the Baragua Swimming Pool Complex are directed by Kenia Fonts and Jany Milanés, who will rely on internal controls to define the group that will compete in the Colombian city.
The pre-selection is currently made up of Alejandra Molina, Idarlenis Díaz, Talía de Jesús Joa, Idaili Díaz, Berglis Rivera, Analia Cabrera, Ana Carla González, Yenisleidys Rodríguez, Nicole Carli, Yennis Almaguer, Nelkys Sánchez, and José Carlos Borges.
Qualifying events for swimming, diving, water polo, and open water will also be held at the Medellin Pan American competition.
