Sydney, August 19 (RHC)-- Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is pressing Australian leaders to agree on legislation that would allow for indefinite imprisonment of people convicted of terrorism.
Under the proposed legislation, people convicted of terrorism would serve their sentences and then be subject to periodic reviews to determine whether it would be safe to release them.
Australian Opposition leaders said they needed more information about the law before voting on it one way or the other.
