Kuala Lumpur, December 2 (RHC)-- The former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, has expressed his condolences over the death of Fidel Castro. From Kuala Lumpur, the capital of that Asian country, the Malaysian politician sent a message to Cuban President Raul Castro.
Mohamad emphasized the importance to the world of Fidel's struggle against imperialism and his legacy to the future generations of the world.
In turn, the Malaysian politicians son, the founder and current president of the Malaysian-Cuba Friendship Association, Mukriz Mahathir, signed the Book of Condolences opened at the Cuban Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
