La Paz, December 4 (RHC)-- The Bolivian Ministry of Economy Luis Arce said that Fidel Castro represents the Latin American revolution. “He was a man who persevered and achieved his goals on the basis of maintaining his principles and values.”
Arce visited the Cuban Embassy in La Paz, the Bolivian Capital, to sign the Book of Condolences.
The Bolivian official said Fidel Castro was a man of exceptional vision who devoted huge resources to the development of education and health, two areas of high priority.
The Bolivian cabinet member recalled that Fidel Castro, despite the collapse of the socialist camp, was able to maintain Cuba's march forward, acting with intelligence and without renouncing his socialist principles.
“To us,” Arce said, “Fidel is an example to be followed and we will remember and honor him by building our new socialist project in Bolivia.”
