Phoenix, February 11 (RHC)-- The mother of two U.S.-born children who is at the center of an immigration fight in Arizona has been deported to Mexico. Guadalupe García de Rayos was arrested and detained during a routine check-in with immigration officials. She had been living in the United States for the past 21 years.
García de Rayos’s rapid deportation after a routine check-in comes as thousands of immigrants around the country face similar check-ins.
