Moscow, May 17 (RHC)-- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has criticized Israel for its propaganda against the people of the Gaza Strip who have been protesting against Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories. Lavrov said at a news conference in Moscow that Israel’s statement about dozens of "peaceful" protesters killed on the Gaza border by Israeli forces on Monday was an act of blasphemy.
“I cannot agree with the fact that dozens of peaceful civilians, including children and infants, who were killed in these incidents were terrorists. This is a blasphemous statement," Lavrov said.
