Madrid, March 22nd (RHC) Thousand of people arrived to The Spanish capital of Madrid, , to participate in protests against the policy imposed by the conservative Popular Party. The demonstrators accused the Part of trying to resolve the economic crisis through the poorest sectors of society.
The Marches of Dignity, as they are called, have the support of some 300 citizen organizations, unions and political parties. There has been call for 35 demonstrations for this Saturday in numerous locations in the Spanish capital, ending at Colon Square.
Some participants also announced their intention to call for other activities in Madrid for this coming Sunday and Monday. Demonstrators are denouncing the difficulties that the Spanish people are submitted to. More than 200,000 have migrated looking for jobs. An estimated 30% of the population live in extreme poverty.
