President Trump continues vilifying minority congresswomen

Washington, July 18 (RHC)—US president Donald Trump continued its attacks against four Democratic congresswoman during a rally Wednesday night in Greensville, North Carolina.

Despite widespread criticism he has received for his racists tweets and remarks, including a House Resolution decrying his actions, Trump continued to urge the lawmakers to leave the country, describing them as “left-wing” ideologues who speak bad about the US.

He listed his grievances against each of the lawmakers, and delivered a special attack against congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who was born in Somalia. While he attacked the congresswoman, the crowd vociferously chanted “send her back”.

Progressive media outlets in the US are recalling that the phrase “go back to your country”, has been registered as one of the top racist insults proffered to minority residents in the United States.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives rejected on Wednesday a Democrats efforts to impeach president Trump over his racist insults towards the four Democratic congresswomen. The resolution wqas defeated 332-95.

This is the first time the full House has addressed the matter since democrats took the majority this year.
