San Salvador, November 3 (RHC)-- Salvadorean President Najib Bukele has expelled Venezuela's diplomatic personnel from its embassy in San Salvador, recognizing the representatives of "president" Juan Guaido.
The government of El Salvador has given the Venezuelan diplomats 48 hours to leave the country. President Bukele said new Venezuelan diplomats in El Salvador would be named by Juan Guaidó.
Ronald Johnson, the U.S. ambassador in El Salvador, welcomed the country’s decision to expel the Venezuelan diplomats. In a tweet, Johnson said El Salvador was "on the right side" of history.
