Paris, June 25 (RHC)-- French technology company Vogo said a saliva-based product it was developing with partners to test for the coronavirus had won "CE marking approval" -- denoting it meets required health standards set out by regulators.

Vogo and its partners SKILLCELL and the CNRS SYS2DIAG laboratory aim to place their "EasyCov" saliva-based coronavirus testing product on the market.

In other news from Paris, France will extend financial aid measures to help the sports industry deal with the hit to business from the coronavirus through to September, the sports ministry has said.

The sports ministry said the French government had so far given about 2.8 billion euros ($3.1 billion) in financial aid to the sports sector over the past three months.
