United Nations, September 26 (RHC)-- At the United Nations General Assembly, Secretary-General António Guterres has warned the coronavirus pandemic has killed nearly one million people, infected 30 million, and remains out of control due to a lack of preparedness, cooperation, unity and solidarity among world governments.
Secretary-General António Guterres said: “This pandemic is a wake-up call for even more catastrophic challenges that may arise, starting with the climate crisis. If we meet these with the same disunity and disarray we have seen this year, I fear the worst.”
