London, October 5 (RHC)-- A British appeals court has rejected a lower court's decision to grant self-proclaimed "president" Juan Guaidó the right to dispose of Venezuela's gold reserves held at the Bank of England.
According to the verdict issued Monday by the three judges of the highest judicial court, the UK court decision was wrong when it ruled last July that Guaidó could have access the gold, based on a statement by then British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt last February that recognized him 'unequivocally' as Venezuela's leader.
