Anthony Fauci warns that the condition of Donald Trump could worsen, even if he looks okay.

Washington, October 6 (RHC)-- The leading epidemiologist in the United States, Anthony Fauci, has warned that the condition of the country's president, Donald Trump, could worsen, even if he looks good.

"It is no secret that if you look at the clinical picture of people who have contracted the disease sometimes, when there are only five to eight days of the onset of contagion, there can be a relapse," Fauci said in an interview with CNN.

The director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases warned that Trump is not out of the woods until several days have passed.  However, he said it is unlikely that anything will happen, given Trump's current good looks, although he has called for vigilance.

Fauci issued that warning after Trump returned to the White House on Monday after a three-day hospital stay for the new coronavirus, which causes COVID-19.  The U.S. president's return to the White House has not made the uncertainty about his health go away.  His personal physician, Sean Conley, acknowledged that Trump is in "uncharted territory."
