Bogota, May 8 (RHC)-- Bogota, the capital of Colombia, has experienced yet another night of repression by the Mobile Anti-Riot Squad (Esmad) that attacked demonstrators who were holding an evening to remember those killed by police brutality during protests against President Ivan Duque.

Through social networks, citizens and political and human rights organizations showed videos showing the actions of the police force against demonstrators in Portal Americas in Bogota.

With tanks, motorcycles, tear gas bombs and firearms, the uniformed officers repressed the people participating in the funeral wake in honor of the victims of the repression.  According to the denunciations, the Esmad launched gases at the residential complexes and women, children and elderly people were affected.
