Geneva, September 3 (RHC)-- The former president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, accuses the prosecutors who were part of the Operation Lava Jato task force of trying to interfere in the position of Jair Bolsonaro's government at the United Nations, when the analysis of Lula's case occurred.

The accusation is based on new fragments of conversations and messages between prosecutors, which are part of the Operation Spoofing material and to which Lula's defense team had access.

In 2016, Lula's defense filed a complaint with the UN Human Rights Committee, alleging violations in the case against the former Brazilian president and questioning the impartiality of Judge Sergio Moro, in a matter that is still pending in Geneva.

In the petition to the Supreme Court, Lula's defense indicates that these conversations with prosecutors evidence what they call serious and irreversible violations of the former Brazilian president's human rights.

According to the petition, in the dialogues held between the prosecutors, it can be seen that they held meetings and meetings with state bodies, to refer, among others, to so-called cases abroad, including Lula's case at the UN.

For Lula's defense, the prosecutors of the former Lava Jato Task Force established the position of the Brazilian State before the UN in Geneva, which, in their opinion, is a violation of Human Rights.

As a result of the accusation and conviction derived from LavaJato, Lula spent more than a year in prison before the convictions against him were annulled.
