In the U.S. state of California, health officials will preserve a statewide mask mandate for Kindergarten thru 12th grade schools through at least the end of the month, even as they’re allowing a universal indoor mask mandate to expire.

Sacramento, February 16 (RHC)-- In the U.S. state of California, health officials will preserve a statewide mask mandate for Kindergarten thru 12th grade schools through at least the end of the month, even as they’re allowing a universal indoor mask mandate to expire.

According to reports, daily COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations across the U.S. are continuing to decline from January’s record highs but remain near the peak of last summer’s Delta-driven surge. 

An average of 2,400 people are dying of coronavirus infections each day in the U.S.
