In New York City, over 7,000 nurses at Montefiore Bronx and Mount Sinai Hospital have returned to work, ending a three-day strike after reaching tentative deals with the hospitals on improving staffing ratios. 

New York, January 12 (RHC)-- In New York City, over 7,000 nurses at Montefiore Bronx and Mount Sinai Hospital have returned to work, ending a three-day strike after reaching tentative deals with the hospitals on improving staffing ratios. 

The New York State Nurses Association union had already won wage increases, but striking nurses at the two hospitals said the ongoing staffing shortages severely impacted patient care.
