Venezuelan President highlights excellent relations between Venezuela and China

Havana, March 28 (RHC) Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros highlighted  the excellent state of relations between China and Venezuela during the farewell ceremony and awarding of the Francisco de Miranda order to the Chinese ambassador, Li Baorong.
In the act held at the Miraflores Palace, seat of the Government, the president, accompanied by other high authorities and the accredited diplomatic corps, stressed that these relations are at the "best level they have ever been", adding that it is the product of work, mutual understanding and political trust built on the pulse of permanent effort.
The head of state meant that both countries have "perfect coordination" of diplomacy and international politics and that, in the face of the latest attacks by the United States and the West against China, Venezuela has been on the front line denouncing the provocations.
Maduro pointed out that the ceremony and awarding had two very important components: one related to the recognition of the work and results of the Asian diplomat during the five intense years in Venezuela; and another related to the balance of strategic relations between Beijing and Caracas, and the deep bonds of friendship and brotherhood between him and President Xi Jinping.
The head of state ratified his congratulations to Xi on his re-election as head of China, to the entire Standing Committee, to the new prime minister, and to the rest of the authorities who assumed command for this new era of construction and modernization of the socialism.
China shows signs that it can be a great power without being imperialist, extending its hands for cooperation and solidarity to all the peoples of the world regardless of their size and color, said the ruler.
Li expressed his gratitude for the award received, and praised the deep traditional friendship between the two peoples.
