Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador announces presidential anti-infaltion summit
Havana, April 4 (RHC) On April 5 the anti-inflation summit will be held via teleconference, as ratified this Tuesday by its convener, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
At the close of his morning press conference at the National Palace, the president said that the rulers of Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Honduras, Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Belize, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will also be representing the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) along with Mexico, its host.
López Obrador said that in this first meeting they will discuss how to exchange food, issues related to trade in this field and also raw materials to face the problem of inflation together, lower prices and counteract the shortage.
He did not give the exact start time or how it will be broadcast, nor if it will be open to the public or will be broadcast live and then a statement will be given. (Source: Prensa Latina)
