Argentine vice-president to be attacked and persecuted
Buenos Aires, Apr 29 (RHC) Members of social and political organizations will denounce this Saturday the attacks and judicial persecution of Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernandez.
The event will take place at 3:00 p.m. local time in the municipality of Tapalqué, in the province of Buenos Aires, and will be attended by the Minister of Community Development of that territory, Andrés Larroque, and Mayor Gustavo Cocconi, among others.
This is the fourth plenary held within the framework of the so-called "clamor operation", organized to denounce the aggressions against the also holder of the Senate and to support her possible candidacy for the general elections of October 22nd.
On December 6, 2022, the Federal Oral Court 2 imposed on the vice-president a sentence of six years in prison and her perpetual disqualification from holding public office for alleged irregularities in the awarding of 51 works between 2003 and 2015, facts that the vice-president rejected and denied during three years of hearings.
The former president denounced the existence of a mafia, a parallel State, and a judicial party that does not tolerate anyone doing the opposite of what they say.
After this event, she announced that she would not run in the elections to prevent Peronism from having an outlawed representative.
However, the organizations insist on her participation in the elections. (Source: PL)
