Venezuelan president to receive delegation of foreign ministers

Brasilia, June 1 (RHC)-- The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced in Brasilia that he will soon receive a delegation of foreign ministers from about twenty countries participating in the Conference in Bogota.

In statements made to the press at the end of the meeting of South American presidents held in Brazil, President Maduro said that this visit is aimed at "reviving the spirit" of the International Conference on the Political Process in Venezuela, which took place on April 25th in the Colombian capital.   "I will soon receive a group of foreign ministers from the countries participating in the dialogue in Bogota who are bringing me a message," the Venezuelan head of state detailed.

Maduro added that "we want to move towards an inclusive dialogue, of strengthening Venezuelan democracy, of strengthening internal dialogue, of peace in Venezuela," he said.  "President (Colombian President Gustavo) Petro is very committed.   I can almost say that President Petro is becoming a guarantor of the progress of the dialogue," said the Venezuelan leader.
