Managua, June 14 (RHC)-- Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Nicaragua on Tuesday as part of his tour of Latin America.
The president and the delegation accompanying him were received at the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua by Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada and other authorities of the country.
The Iranian president is scheduled to hold a meeting with his counterpart Daniel Ortega in the afternoon.
Nicaragua is the second country he is visiting during this tour, after the official visit to Venezuela, where 25 agreements were signed in different development areas.
According to the tour agenda, President Raisi will later travel to Cuba.
This is the Iranian president's first visit to Latin America since he took office in 2021.
