Washington, October 13 (RHC)-- U.S. President Joe Biden spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this week, assuring him that he has the full, unconditional support of the United States in its war against the Palestinian people.

According to media reports, Biden did not urge restraint in Israel’s response to Hamas’s attack.

In public remarks, Joe Biden said: “This was an act of sheer evil, more than 1,000 civilians slaughtered — not just killed, slaughtered — in Israel, among them at least 14 American citizens killed.”

President Biden did not refer to slain Palestinians or the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories in his remarks.

The first shipment of advanced weaponry from the U.S. arrived in Israel Tuesday, as Secretary of State Antony Blinken landed in Tel Aviv for what was described as "emergency talks."
