Worst-Case Scenario Sees 1.4 Million Ebola Cases by January

Atlanta, September 25 (RHC)-- A new warning says the Ebola outbreak in West Africa could reach as many as 21,000 people by the end of the month.

A worst-case scenario from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the epidemic could hit up to 1.4 million people by January 20th. A best-case scenario predicts the epidemic almost wiped out by January, if drastic action is taken today.

The CDC, headquartered in the U.S. city of Atlanta, says there is likely around 2.5 times as many cases today as are being reported.
