United Nations, July 3 (RHC)-- Speaking before the UN Security Council, Sigrid Kaag, the UN senior humanitarian and reconstruction coordinator for Gaza, described the collapse of the public health system in the Palestinian territory and the disruption of the education system as a “maelstrom of human misery.”
She also underscored the critical need for an immediate ceasefire, the release of all captives and unhindered aid access across the Palestinian enclave.
