Caracas, July 17 (RHC)-- From the parish of La Vega in the city of Caracas, the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, denounced the discriminatory messages of the extreme right and assured that fascism and racism will not take power in Venezuela.

“They say they will win and they will collect and they will come for you. No one will bring violence. And if they eat the light, they will regret for 200 years the fascist and stateless oligarchy, because I will enforce the right to peace that the people of Venezuela have,” said the president, while exhibiting evidence of discriminatory messages sponsored by the opposition.

The people of La Vega responded that these samples were neither democracy nor opposition but fascism, hatred and intolerance.

He also condemned the racist nuances of the messages they labeled apes, referring to the Black monkeys of this race.

The Venezuelan president recalled that the La Vega parish has always been a center of popular resistance in Caracas. “Here I am in the neighborhoods of Caracas, in the popular force,” he said on his tour of the Homeland.  The president condemned the occurrence of a civil war and the return of guarimbas that claimed the lives of thousands of people in the past and destroyed the economic sources of small Venezuelan entrepreneurs.

"If they do not want Venezuela to fall into a bloodbath, into a fratricidal civil war, product of the fascists, we guarantee the greatest success of the electoral history of our people", he urged.  “Guarimba or peace?  Peace.  War or tranquility? Tranquility.  Colony or Homeland? Homeland.  Hate or love?  Love.  Intolerance or understanding?  Understanding,” the people of La Vega answered the president’s questions.

At the same time, Maduro reaffirmed that fascism will be defeated in the elections of July 28th, and called each communal council to the street to celebrate, in front of the Miraflores Palace.
