Caracas, July 23 ((RHC)-- Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Monday the censorship of international media regarding the truth in Venezuela.  He spoke to the people of Táchira, saying that the media intend to turn Venezuela into Argentina under President Javier Milei.

"We are a reality.  They have tried to make us invisible a thousand times.  Now the operation is run by hitmen.  The hitmen of lies.  The EFE agency in Spain; the AFP agency, the AP agency, CNN and several television stations here [in Venezuela]", he denounced.

The president specified that the Venezuelan government knows the history of the intentions of the news agencies; but he stressed that in the end, the winner will be the Venezuelan people and the civic-military.

"Let’s prepare ourselves in perfect union.  Nobody will stain the electoral process. I won’t allow let them do that," he warned.

The president also expressed that “they intend to turn Venezuela into Milei’s Argentina,” while reflecting on the adjustment and cutting policies of the Argentine head of state.

Maduro insisted that the policy of Javier Milei has privatized various sectors of society.   Similarly, he said that the right-wing policy in Venezuela is to “submit and kneel to the IMF”.  “Is the way to Venezuela to become a colony of gringos?” he asked.

On the other hand, he declared that “I have avoided a civil war in Venezuela”, specifying that they have tried to kill me 100 times, while highlighting that 930 sanctions have been imposed against the country.
